This spectacular corner of the Alicante
Province in the Valencia region is known as La Marina Baixa and has been
nicknamed "Little Switzerland". Recently described in a travel magazine as
one of the most beautiful areas in Europe, it is enclosed by magnificent
mountain peaks and ranges (or sierras); La Serella and La Xorta to the
north, the Port de Tudons to the west, the |

imposing Puig Campana to the south and
finally, Ponoig and Bérnia to the east. |

In the middle of this awesome scenery lies
the village of Sella, nestling under the spectacular Sierra Aitana which at
1557 metres, is the highest point in the province and higher than Ben Nevis. There
are many stunning walks in this area ranging from short and easy to long
and strenuous which can be enjoyed either on a guided or self guided
basis. |

Self Guided GPS
Walks a new and innovative way to go for a walk! Falling somewhere
between guided and self guided, they are a very affordable and great
alternative, delivering both the confidence of a guide and the sense of
adventure of going it alone. GPS units with pre-loaded walks are
available to hire and if required, instruction can be arranged. |
