The Casa Blava is a typical 200 year old Spanish mountain village house. “Blava” means blue in Valencian, the local language. Prior to its restoration, it had its own “cuadra” or stable, in the basement, where the owner’s mule or donkey (the family’s most prized possession) would have lived! Winter evenings can be cool so there’s a wood burning stove in the living room/kitchen area and radiator style heaters in all of the bedrooms. There are books, maps and walking guides as well as a selection of boxed games, jigsaws and playing cards for those quiet nights in, or take the playing cards to the bar for the best of both worlds! |

FREE WiFi is available in the The Casa Blava (don't forget to ask for the passcode when you arrive). The TV in the living room is connected to Spanish television for those who wish to sample a touch of Spanish life. The top floor sitting room (with the single sofa bed) has a computer with full internet access, as well as a TV/DVD with surround sound. There is also a small film library. |
