The ancient Moorish village of Sella,
419m/1375ft above sea level and sheltered by the majestic Sierra Aitana
(1557m/5108ft) is just 45 minutes north of Alicante airport on the Spanish
Costa Blanca. Once described in a travel magazine as one of the most
beautiful areas in Europe, this small and authentic village is surrounded by
magnificent mountain peaks and ridges, almond terraces, orange and lemon groves, forested valley trails and dramatic gorges.
Sella is the perfect location for walkers,
climbers, cyclists or anyone seeking a very special break away from the
crowds. The combination of pure mountain air, the abundance of wildlife, the
scent of pine, wild herbs and orange blossom and the taste of fresh spring
water truly makes this a walkers´ and nature lovers´ paradise. Sella
is famous for having some of the best rock in Europe, not only for
experienced climbers but for those who wish to try climbing for the first
time and the Tour de Spain Cycle Race regularly passes through Sella, thus
making it popular for cycling team trials. And, as if all this wasn´t
enough, the fabulous beaches of the Costa Blanca are just a short drive
away!

La Casa Blava is a lovingly restored
typically Spanish village house situated in the heart of Sella providing
accommodation for up to 5 people. With traditional beamed ceilings and
antique furniture the house retains much of its original style and charm.
The addition of modern comforts - large woodburner, fully equipped kitchen,
flat screen TV's, WiFi and PC with internet access, heated bedrooms, iPod docking
stations ..... makes La Casa Blava a very charming and extremely comfortable
base, whether it be spring, summer, autumn or winter.
