Introduction to Abseiling Abseiling is the process of descending a cliff face or mountain crag using a rope or ropes and is an essential skill to master if you are serious about rock climbing but, is also great fun as an outdoor activity in its own right. It is not a difficult skill to learn and, with proper instruction, it is very safe. Suitable for any age group, you´ll learn the basics of belaying, rope work, knots, general safety techniques and how to choose the safest descent from a climb. And have lots of fun practising!
