The Sella Aitana Circuit - A Two Day Walk With An Overnight Stay

This walk will appeal to the more adventurous walker. The splendid but challenging 38km circuit, which is spread over 2 days, starts and finishes in the village of Sella and encompasses some of the most spectacular scenery that the area has to offer. You will traverse 2 ridges, the second of which is the mighty Sierra Aitana and which leads you to the highest point in the whole of the Alicante province. You will experience the thrill of steep ascents and descents. You will pass six natural springs, eight ice pits, squeeze through a narrow rock gateway called The Foxes Pass (nicknamed Fat Mans Agony) and maybe even meet a shepherd with his flock!

Your overnight stay will be in a remote mountain location, but in the comfort of a recently refurbished 'albergue' where you will be served delicious, traditional mountain cuisine.
