The Divine Herbal Walk

High up in some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in the Alicante province is the location for our herbal walk. The remote Tagarina Valley is named after a Moorish princess and located between two mountain ranges, the Aitana and the Peņa de Sella. This walk ONLY takes place over a one month period from mid May to mid June (so book early).

Our guide starts the tour by explaining about some of the wild herbs that we will encounter and their many uses. We then take a leisurely walk, enjoying the fresh, herb scented mountain air to the summit of the magical Divino Mountain (the last part of the walk onto the summit is optional) During this aromatic walk our guide will point out the different herbs dotted along the mountainside, giving a brief description of their therapeutic benefits. You are invited to collect the various herbs as we go, but if you plan to do so please bring a pair of scissors with you as this prevents root damage to the plants (a large bag to put them in is also recommended).

A picnic lunch is provided and there is plenty of time to enjoy the nature and beauty of our surroundings.
