The Puig Campana Challenge

The awesome Puig Campana is the 2nd highest mountain in the Alicante province at 1408 metres (4619ft) and without doubt the most recognisable, because of the striking notch in one of it's peaks. Join us on a walk to the summit - enjoy the stunning views, the personal challenge and earn yourself a 'Puig Campana' Challenge Certificate.

Our walk starts just behind the village of Finestrat at Font Moli (height - 333m) at the foot of our goal, the Puig Campana mountain and from here you will truly appreciate both it's beauty and the challenge that lies ahead!

The duration of the walk varies from group to group, but is around 6 hours. We only take small groups on this trip and have to remember that the summit is only half way - we still have to walk back down! Although we use the same route for both our ascent and our descent, the difference in time and direction of travel means that on the way down we are able to enjoy different views and have different experiences to those of on the way up.

On a clear day from the top of the mountain we have a magnificent views up and down the coast, and inland towards the Sierra Aitana.
